Liability Waiver

Please read the following carefully, and check “I agree” when you are ready to proceed. In checking the box below I agree that I understand that my participation in yoga includes physical movements as well as opportunities for relaxation, stress reduction and stretching. Performing yoga postures will require physical exertion, may be strenuous and may expose me to a risk of personal injury. I confirm that I am physically fit to participate in the classes offered. I am fully aware of (and assume responsibility) for the risks and hazards involved in participating in the classes. If at any time I feel unsafe or at risk in any posture or feel that I am unable to participate due to physical or medical conditions, I will immediately discontinue participation in the practice. I will participate in the yoga classes at my own pace and at my own risk, and I will stop or rest if I feel over exerted or fatigued. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture, notify the teacher immediately and ask for modifications and support from the teacher. I will continue to breathe smoothly. I understand that on occasion it will be necessary for the yoga teacher to adjust my posture by physically touching me. In such instances I agree to inform the teacher if this makes me feel uncomfortable, or if the adjustment is uncomfortable or painful. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions, and I have confirmed my participation in yoga with my health-care practitioner. I will notify my teacher immediately of any new ailments or medical conditions that may arise. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga and that my participation is voluntary. Furthermore, I agree to assume full responsibility for any and all injuries and/or damages (known or unknown) which I may incur as a result of the classes or yoga practice. I hereby indemnify Guy Andrew Billman or Management from Critical fitness from any future claims on behalf of myself or my family that may arise from my practice of yoga.
